Book Redesign
Objective
The objective for this project was to redesign a book that has typographic and grid issues, and create something that is well-crafted, easily readable and legible for the readers. Typography should help a reader's eye flow through the words and enjoy the story being told without having to struggle while reading each line. My goal for this project was to organize the text into easily read paragraphs that reflect a consistent grid structure from cover to cover.
Mermaid Tales from Around the World was written by Mary Pope Osborne and illustrated by Troy Howell. I have included all original illustrations into my redesign.
